IN GENERAL.

We ( Sue and Paul ) are a small family firm, established for nearly 30 years.  Our speciality is the design and construction of domestic gardens or parts of gardens, large and small.   We are members of Holbeach Business Forum.  www.holbeach.org

Other services include:   Garden makeovers, low maintenance beds, design and plants only for DIY gardeners,(gardening by numbers), Design and specifications only for both hard and soft landscaping, for remote gardens.  Patios and slab work. At Christmas we also prepare a large number of wreaths and floral decorations to a high craft quality.

Holbeach Market.   We also run a stall, in season, on Holbeach market, where you can buy a wide range of landscaper's quality plants.  These are grown on our own Nursery for use in our landscaping work and are surplus to our needs... so you can often find very keen prices. The stall is also a contact point for our customers of all types and there is usually someone on hand to give free advice.

Maintenance.  We regret that we are unable to offer regular weekly jobbing gardening, weeding or lawncare services.  However, we do try to keep some time each year for seasonal "one off" specialist pruning, tree trimming and hedge work. Sometimes we can also help with neglected gardens and restoration work.

Estimates.   Local on site surveys and written estimates are free of charge.

Designs.  All our designs are original and unique, prepared just for your garden, taking into account location, soil types, aspect, drainage, shade and of course the personal preferences of our clients. Our designs are prepared by hand, not by computer. When required, estimates for larger jobs include scale drawings of existing and proposed gardens. We can prepare construction specifications for hard landscaping features and planting plans for softwork. We can even provide artist's impressions of how the mature garden will look.

It is our aim to try and design gardens within any realistic budget.

We employ a large range of different materials for hard landscaping, especially for mulched low maintenance work. From cheap gravel, through slate to colored recycled glass. We do favour slabwork from the "Stonemarket" range but also use materials from several other manufacturers, including imported natural Indian sandstone.

Construction. There will be no problems finding someone to do the site work with our designs. Paul and Sue undertake most of the construction work themselves. When it is necessary to employ other people, one of us is on site at all times.   We hold a department of environment licence to remove waste material from site. As much waste as possible is recycled and the remainder is disposed of properly.
